CHICAGO (November 4 , 2024) — Subterranean’s #Subt30 anniversary celebration hits a new high with The Tastemakers Series on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Subterranean (2011 W. North Ave. in Chicago’s Wicker Park.) Experience an unforgettable evening celebrating two of Chicago’s passions - bold flavors and music. This immersive event combines inventive dishes from Chef Victor Avelar (Bar Sol) with handcrafted cocktails by Jeptha Creed Bourbon, set in a gallery of concert posters spanning Subterranean’s 30-year history.
Guests will savor Chef Avelar’s culinary creations, each thoughtfully paired with Jeptha Creed’s distinctive bourbon cocktails, striking the perfect harmony of flavors. The evening unfolds to a curated playlist from artists who have graced Subterranean’s stage, creating a vibrant musical backdrop. Free with RSVP, this intimate gathering invites guests to indulge in Chicago’s dynamic blend of culture, taste, and artistry.

Jeptha Creed Distillery is a family-run venture rooted in Kentucky’s agricultural traditions. It combines heritage and innovation with a “ground-to-glass” ethos, crafting authentic spirits from ingredients grown on its land. Featured selections include Jeptha Creed Straight Four Grain Bourbon, Bottled in Bond Bourbon, and the ultra-limited Red, White, & Blue Straight Bourbon—crafted from only a few barrels. The event will also showcase Jeptha Creed’s highly anticipated Six-Year Wheated Bourbon, offering guests a taste of the care and legacy behind each bottle.
