This weekend, celebrate Subterranean's 30th anniversary, cheer on the Chicago Blackhawks and take in a film at the Black Harvest Film Festival.

Celebrate the classic Wicker Park club's 30th birthday.

What to expect: Stroll down memory lane with a display of iconic concert posters from 30 years of rock shows at the venue, including Lee "Scratch" Perry, The Mountain Goat and Dinosaur Jr.

Fun fact: Subterranean is home to Thursday nights' Reggae Gold and boasts the longest-running hip-hop open mic in the country.

  • Guests can also taste food by Chef Victor Avelar and cocktails by Jeptha Creed Bourbon.
  • Next Wednesday 6–9pm at 2011 W. North Avenue
